This intimate etching captures a quiet moment of connection on the Camino, where the pilgrim embraces an ancient tree in gratitude and reflection.  With only the hands and arms of the pilgrim visible, the etching suggests unity with nature.  Rich textures and soft tones evoke stillness, resilience, and the restorative power of the journey. 

This is a hand-pulled photogravure etching, not a photographic print. It is ink pressed into fine paper from a plate we create from the original image.

Print is made with Gamblin Bone Black, warm sienna, raw sepia ink on Hahnemühle Copperplate paper. Prints are signed and numbered on the lower front. Image and paper sizes are approximate. Variations within the edition are possible and expected. Image 12 cm square on 20 × 28 cm paper.
