A  weathered stone shrine bears witness to all that Pilgrims carry with them.   Pilgrims leave small offerings and prayers within its shelter, adding their stories to those of others who have passed this way. 

This is a hand-pulled photogravure etching, not a photographic print. We press ink into fine paper from a plate we create from the original image.

Print is made with Gamblin Bone Black, raw sienna, and warm sepia inks on Hahnemühle Copperplate paper. Prints are signed and numbered on the lower front. Image and paper sizes are approximate. Variations within the edition are possible and expected. Image 12 cm square on 20 × 28 cm paper.
