We often paused after a long day's hike to savour a well-earned glass of wine along the Camino, often refelecting on the day with other pilgrims.  But sometimes just the two of us sat in silence and took in the day.  This peaceful scene captures the joy of resting, reflecting, and celebrating the journey, surrounded by beautiful landscapes and the simple pleasures of pilgrimage.

This is a handmade photogravure etching, not a photographic print. We press ink into fine art paper from a plate we create from the original image.

Print is made with Gamblin Bone Black, warm sienna, raw sepia ink on Hahnemühle Copperplate paper. Prints are signed and numbered on the lower front. Image and paper sizes are approximate. Variations within the edition are possible and expected. Image 12 cm square on 20 × 28 cm paper.
