1 · Your Photograph
For the best result, upload the highest-resolution version you have. Sharp, well-lit images with clear contrast translate beautifully. Phone photos are welcome.
Our studio will review your photograph before beginning work and may contact you if the image is unsuitable for etching. Nothing is printed until we're both happy.
2 · Additional Prints
Your commission includes the first print. Add extra prints of the same plate at €40.00 each.
Notes for the Studio
Plate creation and the first hand-pulled print are included.
Lead time
Because each etching is made by hand, please allow several weeks from approval to shipping. We'll keep you posted at each stage.
Paper & ink
Prints are pulled on heavyweight Hahnemühle Copperplate 300 gsm cotton-rag fine-art paper with archival intaglio oil-based ink.
Handmade variation
No two hand-pulled prints are identical. Small, natural variations in tone and plate texture are part of the character of an original etching.
Editions
Custom etchings are made from your own image and are not part of a numbered public edition.
