Trina

Eric's sister's name is Trina.  So how could we resist when this chrome napkin holder,  decorated with citrus slice graphics and a reflective metallic finish, beckoned us to try a popular non-carbonated fruit-based soft drink on a hot day of hiking in Portugal?  The bold retro diner aesthetic combines everyday practicality with eye-catching promotional design, making it a distinctive tabletop accessory for cafés, restaurants, or collectors. Or people, like my sister-in-law, named Trina. 

For this hand-pulled photogravure etching, we press ink into fine art paper from a plate we create from the original image. Print is made with Gamblin Bone Black ink on Hahnemühle Copperplate paper.

These limited-edition prints are signed and numbered on the lower front. Image and paper sizes are approximate. Variations within the edition are possible and expected.  Image 12 cm x 15 cm on 20 cm × 28 cm paper.
